Vegetable mayonnaise sandwiches make for a quick snack or appetizer or even a yummy accompaniment during tea time. Although they aren’t the healthiest of sandwiches, it’s nice to indulge on some once in a blue moon or serve them during potlucks, parties or even perfect to be made for an occasional brunch. Paneer tikka

Paneer tikka is a delicious appetizer, popular in the menu of most restaurants all over India. It is a great vegetarian alternative to its non-vegetarian counterpart – chicken tikka! I love paneer and happily enjoy having it whenever we dine out! Besides, I often cook with paneer on days when we just have veg. I love how paneer draws in flavors of anything you add to it, so one can add so many different and exciting flavors!

Mackerel croquettes

Croquettes and kebabs top my list when it comes to appetizers/finger foods. Like these mackerel croquettes which I happen to love a lot! Unfortunately we do no get good, fresh mackerels here unlike we do in Mumbai and Goa. So whenever I crave for these, I make do with the canned mackerels. So I always have a can or two in my pantry. I, sometimes also make these fish croquettes with fresh salmon/ tuna. Those are delicious as well.
