Paneer tikka

Paneer tikka is a delicious appetizer, popular in the menu of most restaurants all over India. It is a great vegetarian alternative to its non vegetarian counterpart – chicken tikka! I love paneer and happily enjoy having it when ever we dine out! Besides I often cook with paneer on days when we just have veg. I love how paneer draws in flavors of anything you add to it, so one can add so many different and exciting flavors!

Goan Drumstick bhaji ( Sautéed drumsticks)

Sharing a very easy and basic recipe today – sautéed drumsticks. In this dish, drumstick veggie is cooked in a base consisting of sautéed onions-tomatoes, seasoned with turmeric and green chilli for spice and some freshly grated coconut for the sweet nuttiness. Few ingredients are used here, but there is absolutely no compromise on taste. The coconut adds a wonderful sweetness and texture to this simple dish. Frankies are basically wraps, and a popular Indian street food. This potato cheese Frankie is quite popular and the most common one amongst its vegetarian counterparts. I would occasionally indulge on these after my work hours. There was a Frankie stall right outside the railway station serving up both veg and non-veg frankies. At the sight of the piping hot frankies, prepared right in front of you, one couldn’t help but drool until that Frankie made it’s way from the skillet to your plate . Satisfaction for your hunger and tastebuds! Yum!
